I would like to preface that I do not know much about toilets. I decided to replace my old toilet with the Toto Drake after reading through a bunch of posts from this forum. I am excited to get it installed, but I just wanted to know if these marks were typical for a new toilet, or if I should be concerned about the purchase. I have 48 hours to return the item

I noticed some blue stains on the bottom side of the toilet, and some white, glossy coating around certain points. Is this normal, or a bad sign for a new toilet?

When the toilet is cast at the factory they have to drain the slip and then put plugs in from where they drained it. It’s completely normal to have those.
