Delta single handle shower issue

I just moved into a fairly new(2022) rental home and one of the shower valves will shut off half way through moving towards hot water. It is only right in the middle. If you turn oast the middle the water turns on again.
It is hottest just before turning off in the middle but is warm when turned all the way hot.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
