Mixet Valve

Hello,

Installed a mixet value in my shower... works fine , No Leaks , however, when i turn off all taps at the house my water softener continues to soften water.. When i turn off the hot water value the softener stops. Perhaps i have the wrong valve ??

When i turn on the value to the hot water heater i can take a shower and single lever works just fine... However, to avoid the water softener running
continuously i have to turn off the valve.

Any comments would be appreciated !!

Sounds like a leak on the hot side of the system.

Could be your humidifier drawing hot water. Humidifiers are often piped to the hot.
