Help! Have a 5 year old new home, 5 pex fitting leaks/failures in last 2 years, all ln hot water lines, mostly at t junctions where it goes to 1/2”. Water temp, quality, ph, psi all normal. Have a grandfos 15-35sfc recirc pump that runs 24-7 on middle speed. We have a large 2 story home with basement where the hot water heat is at. Leaks are always only in the kitchen and these lines even stay hot when pump is not on due to thermosifon effect. We need help! Pics wont up load but there is rust on the crimps, white and green powdery residue on the brass t fittings. We don’t know what to do bc we keep having to chase our tail and fix these leaks. Is this from the pump? We can turn the pump off but with the thermosifon effect the lines still stay hot which I’m sure still increases erosion. Any ideas?
