I want to install a thermostatic valve for specialized application. I was planning on screwing the check valves with tape to the valve and then screwing the copper female adapters with tape (pre-soldered to pipe I need) and then soldering my copper to the Tees I would install on the hot/cold supply. Did I miss anything.

This all sounds lovely, until the valve needs to be replaced. Ideally I'd like to use unions, so I can just replace the valve if I ever have to. Any simple way to do this?
