I'm working in the bathroom, changing out the old stink with a glass vessel sink that has a stainless steel drain. I've also bought a stainless steel p-trap (1-1/4"). I need to to connect this draining pipe to the PVC piping in the wall, which, just to make it interesting, is 2" in diameter. Where the two materials meet has no threads on them (no male/female parts).

So the question is:

How might I connect a 1-14" stainless steel p-trap drain to a 2" PVC piping in the wall?

Thanks for you help in advance,

Zachary

What you need is an adapter 1¼ tubular to 1½ PVC. ( If your measurement is about 2 inch outside, that is a 1½" pipe). This adapter is readily available.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
