I am going to hook up to the city water line for a small 30' Yurt. My Yurt is 400 feet from the road. I have the option of installing a 1" or 1 1/2" water line with matching tap, meter, etc. I am concerned about the water pressure and volume of water at the Yurt because of the distance. The water pressure will be feeding 1 shower, 1 toilet, 1 bath faucet, 1 washer, 1 dish washer, 1 hose bib, and 1 kitchen sink. There is a minimal amount of elevation change from the meter. Can anyone recommend which size water line I should use and the pros/cons of both sizes available for me? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Kyle from Texas.

I would consider 1-1/4" for a one bath unit.
If you went 1-1/2" you have future proofed it though.
The charts below were for PVC and copper. PEX has a smaller diameter.

pro and con of water piping is mainly cost costs more running big My choice would be 1 1/4 vs 1 1/2 I wouldnt run 1 inch . I would not be ordering a 1 1/2 meter likely only a 3/4 most places charge substantialy more on water bill upping meter size at least around here an 1 1/2" meter going to cost 25 or 50 bucks more per month. Unless there is some problem with good pressure and volume see no need for big meter
