well pump

I have a wayne jet shallow 1/2 horse power well pump that keeps cutting on and off. I have adjusted the pressure gauge but to no solution. It pumps water but not at same pressure. Also it gets very hot. Do I have a pressure switch problem? It worked fine last year.

sounds like you have a waterlogged expansion tank. Go to the pumps forum here and read the sticky on how to fix that
