Hi all, we recently built a new house and asked our contractors to put some rough plumbing in place for a full bathroom in the basement. They left us a 2x4 section of the concrete floor open. This opening is currently covered with framed wood but has access to the main drain.

My question is about the shower drain. We are getting ready to finish the room and I’ve never done plumbing in this situation. Do I get the shower trap and rough stand pipe for the drain in place then pour concrete around everything to fill in the void left for plumbing or should I leave a section open around the trap? Thanks in advance
