Can someone identify what brand, if this is Moen, Delta? It leaks and needs a new cartridge.

Also I'm using a 7/64 Allen wrench on this set screw, it bites a little and strips. Any advice on a solvent that might help loosen it and a way to get a better hold to turn it?

Many thanks.

Delta brand. 1300 and 1400 series cartridges if the handle rotates. No liquid penetrant will really help.
If the handle operates like a joystick, then it is old Delta ball mechanism.

7/64 = .109 inches. .109"=2.77 mm. Try a 3 mm Allen wrench. It just might fit for a tight fit.

And tapping in the 3mm to get really good purchase.

When that fails a small easy out might work, but if its brass it won't.

I recently had to drill out some stuck set screws.. Be careful not to drill too far. I then re-tapped new threads and inserted a new stainless set screw
