Plug Valve for Bathroom

Hello everybody, Hope you all are going well. I have a metal plug valve and I wants to use it in my bathroom. Is it possible to use it?

Yes it is possible to use it, but plug valves are not generally designed for the regulation of flow.

Plug valves are more like a gate valve and are not intended for throttling

If you want to isolate an entire bathroom with 2 valves rather then a shower with integral stops and do not want individual valves for the other fixtures then I would recommend a tile stop

If your just using a valve to a fixture such as a basin etc then a Globe pattern is the correct choice

As I am working with industrial valve manufacturing company, the plug valve are mostly used in industrial sector and for home and bathrooms ball valves and PRV perform their best.

Ball valves are NOT intended for throttling . Globe valves are
