I have a brand new Delta faucet in my shower I have very light loop warm water coming out of my spigot and I have perfect hot water coming out of the shower head I reverse the cartridge I've even changed the cartridge still the same thing what's wrong with it thanks for any advice in advance chipmunk, ️

Do you turn on the shower by operating a diverter spout? If so, spout dribbling is normal, but different spouts dribble more, and others much less.

If you switch between shower and tub by operating the valve in the wall, then my comment would not apply.

That shouldn't be possible. The water that goes to the showerhead is the same water that goes to the tub spout.

Unless there is a flow issue caused by something else. Maybe a tankless water heater that can't keep up with 5+gpm, but can keep up with 2.5?
