I am going to be remodeling our master bath here shortly. It currently has a very only cast iron tub, which other than being ugly it has remained solid all these years.
I have been reading on the forums about which tubs you guys recommend. I see some people say that you cant beat a cast iron tub. I definitely want a solid feel and obviously dont want to deal with any cracking issues.
I see others recommend the Kohler Archer tub. And even some say the Americast is the way to go.
This bath will be used for soaking as well as taking showers. It will be standard size since there isn't any room to expand the footprint.
Id appreciate any recommendations, I want to do this right the first time with a nice quality tub that will last a very long time.
