I am having issues wiring up a new Panasonic FV-0511VHL1. I removed an old vent/heat/light combo unit controlled by 3 single-pull switches. For me, the wiring diagram directions are confusing and do not match my current switch layout. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have attached images of the old junction at the unit and images of the new. I know the ground wires go together, the white wires go together, and blue wires for the light go together. I do not need the night light function. It gets confusing on how to hook up the fan and heater. Any advice?

If the previous setup had 3 single pole switches, then that presumably means you only have 4 conductors (ignoring grounds) from the switch location to the fan location? Neutral and 3 switched hots?

If so, and you're happy to abandon the night light functionality, replacement is straightforward. Just cap off the night light connection on the unit with a wire nut. Then ground goes to ground, the supply neutral goes to both unit neutrals, and each of the 3 switched hots goes to its respective function, which the wiring diagram is calling calling Live (Light), Live(Vent), Live (Heat).

Cheers, Wayne
