Can you vertically wet vent a WC like this . I know my SHWR being wet vented by the LAV is legal but not sure about my WC.View attachment 63829

I assume on the drawing that the up and down lines are vertical, and the lines at either 45 degree angle are horizontal.

Your notation "vertical wet vent" is not pointing at quite the right place, the only portion of the 3" stack that is a vertical wet vent is between where the 2" shower/lavatory drain comes in and the 3" WC drain comes in.

I learned in looking into your question that New Jersey does not use the IPC or UPC, but rather an IAPMO code called the NSPC. It allows vertical wet venting for up to 6'. The minimum size is one size larger than would be required as either a vent or as a drain. 3" is definitely big enough.

So it appears to my non-expert reading that the arrangement pictured complies with the NSPC.

Thanks are you familiar with Massachusetts code I'm actually drawing this up for my sister in law. She is moving a bathroom and we are just trying to see if it would be possible.
Yes up and down are vertical and the other lines are horizontal North East South West.

Also I think I can tie in the Lav and Shwr to my 3" WC pipe before it ties into the stack now the WC will be dry vented by the vent stack above it .And I guess you can also consider it horizontally wet vented by the Lav .

I think your drawing is OK in Massachusetts, see page 95 of the document linked to here, sounds like section (9) stack venting:

https://www.mass.gov/review-248-cmr-1000-uniform-state-plumbing-code

[If this is your first time reading a code, it is best not to assume you know what any of the words mean but to check each one in the definitions section at the front. Only if there is no definition is it safe to assume a word has its normal meaning.]

If I'm reading that page correctly, then (in Massachusetts) you can do what you propose in your last paragraph only if the bathroom is not on the top floor of the building.

Cheers,
Wayne

Thanks for your help Wayne ,so I found this wet vent diagram on the link you gave me and I can make this work its just hard to tell if I can tie in to that stack at different levels Wc below lav/shwr or vice versa
I am not on the top floor but I am the upper most bathroom in the house.
