My wife is an antique fancier and as a result we have an old bathroom sink with separate faucets in a 1/2 bath. I'd like to ad subject mixing valve to keep hot faucet from getting too hot when washing hands, etc. I'd just split cold water side the run a leg from that to the mixing valve with the hot side and to the hot faucet. My question is, does that effect the operation of the on demand water heater. It's a Navien that has a recirculation line so would they play nice together or would that introduce problems like unwanted recirculation? Any recommendation on a valve to use would be helpful. thanks

a tempering valve on the hot side would be the proper way to mix cold into your single basin cock.
