Trying to understand wiring on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control. But only for the Outdoor Air-Sensor (Taco 9300-2052). The outdoor Air-Senor has only two wires - red and white. The red wire was traced to the "Out" on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control. The white wire is traced back to the "Common" on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control.

The outdoor air-sensor has two screw terminals. Both terminals are labeled the same ""S1".

How do I determine which colored wires goes to which terminal on the outdoor sensor?

Please see attached picture of the Outdoor Air-Sensor and the two terminals I am referring to.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thank you for the reply. I thought that as well. But when I wired it up. It shows the "OPn" Trouble Code.

See pics.

So I assume something is wrong.

Doesn't matter which color goes to terminal strip just the right terminal.
They change by resistance. Page 7 is a table for temp to resistance. With digital thermometer and ohm meter before wires are landed. When checking resistance don't get your hands close to sensor. Boiler sensor will need to be insulated. Outdoor sensor don't mount it where the sun will hit it directly.

Fixed. Had to cycle the power to the controller so that it will do a reboot and look for the sensors. Thank you for the suggestions.
