Submersible Pump issue

We have an old submersible pump (Oasi brand) for our outdoor fish pond, its lasted for a long time. However, it started to get weaker and weaker…the shaft is sliding in and out…is it possible to repair it, if so what should I do

I think Oasi still makes fountain and pond pumps. Have you checked with them? Probably not much to repair on one of those.
