Looking for a little help.

Here is my setup:
Water Softener:
Fleck 5600 metered valve
48000 cf tank
I have hardness set to 12 grains (grains of hardness 6 + what i'm approximating neutralizer adds 6)

Neutralizer
Autotrol 460TC valve
60k cf tank? I'm guessing this big....its bigger then the softener which I know is 48K. (see picture)

I have a Well (approx 150 feet down) which first flows into the Neutralizer, and then the Water Softener.
We have really good water ...we are up on a mountain so I'm assuming that is part of reason why.

I just went to water conditioner store and here are my numbers.
Un-conditioned water:
ph - 6.3
grains of hardness 6
Iron - zero (or very little)
Total Dissolved solids - 390

Conditioned water
ph - 7.5
grains of hardness - zero

5 adults in the house (when college starts...assuming it does! ....there will only be 3 in the house)
I have low flow valves on every faucet, front load washer/dryer.

1. How often should I back wash the neutralizer?
2. Is my approximation for hardness that neutralizer adds good? (6)

Appreciate any help in advance!

Thanks!
Al G.
