Hi everyone, I'm moving a well tank and water heater from attic.
Currently the house is a cottage and used only in summer. The homeowner wants to make it year round.
No second floor and on a concrete slab. I'm the contractor for this project. Project is in NE PA. The tank and water heater will be in a closet in the middle of the house. Im Cutting into slab for new piping.
Any tips or suggestions.
To me it looks pretty straightforward. But ya know......Pictures included

Thanks
Gene

That is a pretty funny looking tank. I am sure it is too small for the size pump you have. Might get away with it being just a cottage and not used very much. But still, the pressure probably fluctuates up and down a lot. Tanks should be sized to fit the pump, not to fit in the space available.

However, that tank is plenty large enough if you stick a CSV1A in line before it. You could even safely use a much smaller 4.5 gallon size tank if space is an issue. Also, with the CSV you would have strong constant pressure in the house as a bonus. Even though you are not there much of the time, you want good pressure when you are there.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
