I have an irrigation project where I'm also running some laterals for seasonal hose bibs. I would like to keep the hose bibs potable and will use NSF rated poly. I'd also like to use fittings for the irrigation (of edibles) that will sustain over time and have lower risk of freeze damage, if some are better for that than others (at a price that isn't excessive). The system will typically be designed for gravity drained.

Anyone know if any of those barbed PVC or Nylon fittings come with an NSF rating? If so, are PVC or Nylon fittings better for my case?

Are there other fittings I should consider?

I found on the Lasco site that their barbed gray PVC fittings are NSF 14 and 61 approved for potable water. Since these are the ones I've used before, unless I hear back other recommendations for a better product for my application, I will go with those.
