What are your opinions or methods to finish this wall to tub area? It's a two part issue.
First, it's not a straight line from the shower wall to the floor, the tub extends out, and that contour complicates the finishing in that area.
Second, while the shower wall to tub flange keeps the water out on the un-caulked plumbing wall side the water wants to run along that gap towards the section that's open and need to finish. How do I control that from working behind that end edge?
Lastly, it's a typical big box American Standard brand tub and surround and never has the panel seams or panel to tub gaps caulked. Does anyone know if these should be caulked?
