I returned to some property that had the pump stolen off it 6 1/2 ish yrs ago. It is located just outside of Panama City, FL about 5 miles from Econfina Creek. It is a "45 ft" deep jet well. I have had zero luck getting 3 different brand new pumps to prime. I am the exact opposite of a educated well and or pump person, but I think the problem is SOMETHING before the casing adapter. I will attach images of the set up I have. Can I pull up the jet pipe and replace leathers and foot valve without harming other parts?!?! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If the pipe won't hold water then either the leathers are bad or the foot valve is leaking. Yes you need to pull the pipe and fix those things. If the leathers are stuck sometimes pouring down a little chlorine and letting it sit a while helps.

What about muriatic acid? I had to do this once before to clean the foot valve and it worked like a charm.
