Can I use a faucet on the picture as a water source for my garage fridge ice maker

Just got a garage fridge with an ice maker / water capability. Can I use the faucet on the picture as a water source for it? It is coming off my water softener. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Someone installed it for a garden hose connection. Could have been used for anything.

Before adapting to feed a fridge, I would remove the add-on vacuum breaker. Fortunately the screw has not been broken off, so drilling out the screw will not be necessary.
