So I got an extra well I wanna hook up to my current system. System has a pressure tank and settling tank on it. Well has a submersible pump with a control box that has 230v 1hp and usually runs around 10amps when I tested it. Shocked the well a couple times and have ran it for 24hrs without the water flow slowing. I know it's at least 80ft deep but don't know total. Well case is 4in. That's the only info I have on the other pump. My current well pump is a vertical jet pump on a 2in case. Usually turns on between 30 and 50 and turns off around 70. Its starting to go out so I'm expecting it to stop functioning soon.
Extra info is I live a mile from a river so may have effects on static water levels throughout the year. I don't know the static water level. Well is located in Bell, FL so static shouldn't be too deep. Also when starting to run the submersible pump the first 20-50 gallons has fine sediment in it. Currently only 1 user on property so water usage is low. May end up with up to 6 users on property at some point
I have been looking around for a good video or article that can show me how to set up an additional pump to a current system but have had trouble finding anything.
I was using this site to try and figure out what parts I need. https://www.nearnorthsupply.com/components-of-a-typical-submersible-pump-installation/
From looking at this site so far I'm guessing I need a check valve, pressure switch, tank tee, and pressure gauge. Do I also need a flow control valve even though it didn't run dry running it 24hrs straight, do I need a relief valve, and do I need a fine sediment filter since I have a settling tank?
If someone has a good vid, article, or can give me a rundown of everything I need with some instructions I would appreciate it
