try shooting some WD 40 in the hole here te set screw goes then let it sit for a while.

Sometimes you have to break somthing in order to repair it. Get the parts and then break the handle off. You'll probably need the cartridge and the handle. Call Kohler....if your the original owner they will replace it free probably......even if your not the original owner they still may replace it for you. Depends on who answers the call. LOL
