White exterior build up?

I just noticed this white build up on outside of my softener tank. Any ideas as to what it is?

white build up on outside of my softener tank

The tank appears to be the brine tank, not the resin tank.

The liquid level within the interior of the tank is rising too high so salt brine is seeping out from the hole where the brine line exits the tank. The liquid is then evaporating, leaving dried salt accumulating on the tank exterior.

Suggest posting some additional photos showing the complete softener. Also, include the specific details for the settings that are currently programmed.
