What to do if I can’t open multi-turn angle valve all the way on new toilet install?

Installed a Toto Drake and the base of the toilet must be a bit deeper than the previous one because I can’t turn the valve all the way open. I can only spin it maybe 2 or 3 times before it gets stuck. The toilet still fills up and things seems to flush fine with it like that.

My question is, can I just keep it partially opened or does that wreck it? If I can’t, what options do I have? Is there some sort of extension for the handle?
