What size particles can greensand remove?

I know greensand is not primarily to remove suspended solids but I sure it does remove some. Does any know how small a particle greensand can filter?

I am confident it is not going to remove that submicron stuff that you seem to have.

I have not seen backwashing media that claims under 3 microns, and that may be a stretch.
