My wife wants shiplap in our very small bathrooms that are not well ventilated. If I do this, will a vapor barrier be sufficient in keeping moisture from building behind the shiplap? I don't think this is wise because I could get moisture between the shiplap and barrier correct? I don't see any way to prevent this as I'm not sure I could 100% caulk/seal every plank.
