The set screw was well hidden on this one, but I found it and removed it. But now the lever still won't budge. I've decalcified as best I could and have even used WD-40. But it's stuck.

Has anyone seen this model before? It would if I knew whether I should turn (counter-clockwise) or pull to get the lever removed. I've uploaded a picture, if that helps.

Any advice would be gratefully accepted!

All levelers are pushed on to the valve stem with splines. No doubt the handle and stem are frozen to each other. Take a plastic handle screw driver and tap the level as much as possible with the handle to try to break any corrosion, but you will needed to pull it off. I would put one hand around the escutcheon and put pressure on the wall so you don't damage the wall and valve body and ever so slightly wiggle the level and pull at the same time.

You might be able use a small hook on the set screw hole and pull on it so you're pulling more from the center.

Thanks, I'll try it.
