Looks like the Dole valve is the preferred method for filling a tank ,but if i wanted to control my jet pump with a timer to fill a 200gal tank and use another jet pump with CSV out of the tank for the house. What would be a good timer to use?

You will need a 230V timer like used for pool pumps. Tork it a brand I remember. Wouldn't hurt to use both a set ball valve (Dole valve) and a timer. Sometimes just a little restriction lets the pump run much longer.
