Hello again,
We're remodeling a second floor bathroom with 60s copper/iron plumbing that's in good shape. We'd like to swap bathtub and sink locations and are not sure of the correct way to handle the drains. I'm thinking that cutting off the 90* elbow and replacing it with a T would work, but not sure of any code or functional problems that might result. Existing drain is 2" copper into the stack.
