Hi everyone here,
I just found this forum doing a search of my problem. When i measured my roughin before the tile and backerboard i came up with what i thought was a 14in roughin. So i got the toto nexus with the 14in attachment. But when I was getting ready to install the attachment i noticed it sits way to close to the wall. So I remeasured after the tile and such the center of my roughin is 13. Just wondering how far off the wall the toilet back is going to be if I use the 12in fitting. I have a toto drake 2 in my other bathroom that had a 10in rough in and have about 3in gap from the wall so what are my options? I would like to get it as close to the wall as i can.

Thanks
Booger

I used a Toto Vespin II with a similar rough. I had more leeway, because the center hole in my closet flange was bigger.

In the other bathroom, if a 10-inch rough toilet has 3 inches between the tank and the wall, I would expect a 12-inch rough toilet to have about a 1 inch gap. But for a given rough, the space at the back is also different for different Drakes.
