Sometimes the air vent on a hose faucet will leak when using the hose. It's an anti-siphon device to prevent water from the hose from ever entering the pure water supply. You may notice that your outside faucet has a cap behind the handle on the top of the faucet, with water that leaks out when the hose is used. Sometimes it's a bug that crawls in there and sometimes it's the O-Ring that has split. In the video below, it was both things upon closer inspection.


Replacing the PK1430 on an Arrowhead faucet. Other brands may have a similar part for their faucets too. The repair is done the same way, but with different parts.
