I am looking to replace a control box for a 1/2 HP pump that is Brand Reda which hasnt been making residential for a while. Took it to the pump store and they said it was a special control box that needed "1/2 HP CC Control Box" that has an additional part when compared to modern day pumps maybe it was starter + capacitor instead of just a capacitor?

Anyway I have been looking for one but haven't been able to find anything that claims to be "CC" so was wondering if anyone knew of one or another way to look like searching "capacitor plus starter"?

Thanks.

Wow! 1973 was the last year I saw a Reda pump. You will need a Capacitor Start/Capacitor Run or CSCR control box. And this is telling my age as very few people will know this, but to run a Reda from a Franklin box you will need to swap the red and yellow wires.
