The top flame comes on and goes right out . My boiler won't get hot and my water pressure goes down to 3 after sitting and not being used

Pull the igniter and scrape the flame rod with hard edge like side of a chisel or knife (not the sharp edge, just a good scraping edge). then Emery cloth the flame rod.
Water pressure is not related to the flame issue.

I put in a new one and the foam gasket fell apart . can I put a rubber one in and without , it's getting to much air
