I posted these photos on Reddit originally to get help on how to get my backer flush to the studs. I was referred to here after most people suggested redoing the plumbing. I’m a very green DIYer but I’m not opposed to trying to fix something as long as I have the proper resources. Any tips or ideas how this needs to be replaced? Would you just recommend calling plumber?
