Hi All,
I have a 40-year-old fiberglass shower stall that appears to be leaking through the pan. On the inside the stall is smooth with no visible seams or cracks. The walls and the bottom pan appear to be the same piece.
However, from underneath, the pan seems to be leaking. Perhaps at a seam where they connected the walls to the pan during manufacture? Although I can't see any evidence of this seam from the inside. I also recently had the drain replaced so I'm pretty confident it's not the drain.
I took a video of the leak which you can find here:
What could this be? A hairline crack too small to see?
If so, could I fix this by patching the pan with fiberglass patch and resin from underneath?
Thx team.
