Hello,
I am installing an exterior subpanel (on a small structure with no room inside for a reasonable "work area") and am curious to know if I can run my branch circuits through a knockout on the rear of the enclosure. I was reading that I can go out the bottom of the enclosure as THWN in conduit and then enter the rim joist at a J-Box and transition to NM (Romex). If I needed to have 5 branch circuits, isn't this a lot of wires coming out of the enclosure?
What are my options for running branch circuits from an outdoor subpanel?
Thanks.
