I am running my 70pint dehumidifier in the basement and want to install a condensate pump so I don't have to go down empty it all the time. Where can I run and tie the drain hose into. I don't have a floor drain in my basement. I am remodeling the basement as we speak

Usually only warm weather you run the dehumidifier. Run the condensate drain hose up to a window or drill a hole through the wall for the hose. A check valve may be needed. Winter time just remove it.

Where do you drain the laundry? Too far?

Can you run the condensate into the sump for the sump pump?

There are condensate pumps that can easily pump up to the higher floor, if you want to go there.

This is related. I have a 70pt with a vertical auto pump to remove water to a basement window. The pump crapped out and every indication is the residential models with pumps are all similar, the pumps fail within a short time. There's also a regular sump in the basement but I'd need a ton of water from the dehumidifier to get it working. I thought of putting a small shallow sump pump under the dehumidifier for have it pump the small amounts vertically to a nearby basement window. They've worked very well in a different house where I have a HomeDepot Everbilt 1/3hp pump that pumps out anything that's more than a 1/4" in height. Great little machine. Anyway, it's a solution I thought of today and plan to try it out. Maybe it'll help you.
