Angle stop placement in vanity

Can you move installation of angle stops a few inches here and there to avoid obstructions. The wall is open and might be easier to avoid studs and pipes. Or, do you have to stay within certain placement dimensions?

You can move them several inches with no problems.

You can move them feet away if needed that would be unusuall but Ive had to move stub outs dozens of times if not more due to drawers or outside the cabinet
