Hello

How do I replace the fill valve on this model of toilet, without removing the tank?
The nut is lodged into a recessed area, so I don't see how I can remove it easily
Is a special wrench needed? that seems weird.....!

I don't know that toilet. Maybe take a photo with your cellphone of the underside.

Would a deep socket do it?

That sketch looks a bit like a Fluidmaster, but I guess that is unlikely.

But if it were, and OP could replace a seal from the top, that would be nice. Or maybe swap out the whole thing that adjusts higher or lower. Probably too much to hope for.

You will need to remove the tank for replace the fill valve and supply line for that tank and bowl.

I was able to replace the supply line without taking the tank out. But I can't access the nut
As suggested above, would a deep socket work? Would you know the size actually?
Thanks
