No. The brine should be all transferred to the resin tank in approx 36 minutes of that 145 minutes BD cycle. The remaining ~109 minutes is a slow rinse cycle that will push the brine slowly through the remainder of the resin, and will rinse sodium, chloride, calcium and magnesium to the drain.
