    Would you have any quelms using expansion on zurn pex that's had chlorinated water for 3yrs?

    I'm doing some repairs and installs of new fixtures. House is 3yrs old in phx area, with zurn pex expansion fittings. I'm on chlorinated water and wonder if I should not risk expanding at this point, and go with copper crimp rings? Could the pex be more susceptible to splitting at this point...

    Thanks. Yeah it's 5306 rated which I believe is the highest chlorine résistance rating but does that mean it won't degrade? No idea haha. Yeah I will reach out to zurn and see if they have any opinion on the filters.

    House is 3yr old in phoenix, plumbed with zurn with expansion rings. City water report shows the water is chlorinated with a range of .79ppm- .94ppm. Would you install a whole house filter to prevent long term chlorine damage to the pipes or feel it's unnecessary? Thanks

    so i upgraded to bigger tank and pressure is good until tank drains a bit. Will a permeate pump help keep tank full?

    Have an ispring 6 stage, 2 years old, it's been through two sets of filters and membranes, pressure has been mediocre since day 1. Can fill 1 cup in 8-10 seconds depending on how full the tank is. Ice maker in fridge is sporadic due to the lowish pressure. Pressure at our house is 52 psi so I...
