What can be causing my water tank to fill up slowly?

Pumping sludge from well. How expensive?

The well recovery rate from the house tank is really bad. I can go on a 2-3 day trip and the water would barely fill up half ways by the time I get back(empty house). Haven't had this problem at all with my irrigation tank as I water for long periods on a daily basis and never have to worry about it. I'm guessing it's a matter of sludge build up at the bottom of the tank. Will be contacting the proper tradesman for the job but would like to get your thoughts.

How big is you're electric bill now vs last year?

Electric bill has been slightly down compared to last yr mostly due to switching all light bulbs to fluorescent bulbs. Also please let me know what other information I can provide to help.
