When my husband and I first dated we flew kites. When we had kids, we flew kites. The month to fly them in the east is March. If you see shoes hanging, that is not the area to fly a kite, but, then there are many areas to fly one. We also flew small remote controlled airplanes and didn't have a problem. We had alot of fun. Of course, now, my remote airplane had a little gunner in it.
