Hi,
I'm a total newby, so please excuse my ignorance. I removed my old toilet, to make way for installation of my new TOTo Aquia two piece toilet, and in so doing, I removed the flange from my toilet aswell - guess I was a little gung-ho. Anyway, I now need to replace the flange - I can't seem to find one that will work with the lip of the pipe sticking up. Would it be really ill-advised to invert a brass flange, water-tighten with plumbers putty, then adhear to the floor?
Thanks,
Kate
