I am cutting out some cast in my basement. I want to reinforce the riser to the first floor. I went to ********* and the riser clamp they have needs to go above the subfloor. I want to support from the bottom. Do they make a riser clamp that screws into the floor above.
thanks In adv,

You want the anchors to be in shear rather than in tension. On the building where I work, they just let the arms of the clamp sit on the concrete floor around the hole.

Can you support from above and recess in to the floor?
You could find some type of angle bracket to attach to the riser clamp that can then be attached to the floor.
