Where should the contol unit be mounted for a whole house humidifier that is installed on the return air side of my furnace. My last house had it mounted directly to the furnace, this house has it on the wall by the thermostat in the hallway.
If it should be in the living area, any suggestions on a unti that will control both the humidity and the temp? I can't seem to find them locally, haven't tried the supply houses, but they generally don't seem to be a lot of help and I don't know what makes one $100 and another $300.
I do want programable temp control, but nothing overtly fancy as we don't normally run programs, since my wife is home during the day.
